- Goodyear stitched Jodphur boots handcrafted in Portugal - Our Goodyear-stitched shoes are made in Benedita, north of Lisbon, in a small, specialized traditional workshop that has been in existence for over 50 years. Twenty-five highly-skilled craftsmen work with passion to produce just under forty pairs of shoes a day. This construction, also known as "welt assembly", relies on the use of the so-called welt, which is sewn to both the upper part of the shoe (the upper) and its sole, making it waterproof and resoleable. This is the quintessential high-end assembly. - Our carefully selected Box calf leathers come from a famous German tannery, which has specialized in this rare and noble type of leather since 1849. Resistant and supple, it's the Rolls Royce of full-grain leathers, ideally suited to dress shoes for its incomparable shine and fine grain. - Cowhide leather lining - This pair features a Goodyear-stitched rubber sole, ultra-resistant and slip-resistant to adapt to your needs while optimizing your comfort. Made from 100% natural rubber, they are flexible and breathable. It will accompany you in all situations and keep your feet dry. With excellent waterproofing, it will resist abrasion for optimum durability. - Supplied with a travel pouch for each shoe, in a box made of paper from FSC-certified forests. Caution: we strongly advise against applying cleansing milk to this leather, as it may cause the color nuances to fade.
